a long long weekend....

Phew...since a week before Hari Raya i've been busy doing so many things at one time...with orders pouring in, housework, part-time job and managing this company...it's never like me before.

It's gonna be a tight as now till end of the eyar..i hope i have the courage to carry all this responsibilities at once...but insyaAllah...with mom's and "swit-hart" support and encouragement...i'll brave this through..

This one ordered by a fren untuk majlis tunang adik dia...first time buat guna sugarpaste...i made sugarpaste sendirim but without the gum..jadi juga la, but not so pliable, dia senang pecah...jenuh menguli...akhirnya jadi jugak...make roses and covered 4 cuppies with sugarpaste before decorating using royal icing...first time buat royal icing...but a bit smeared bila campur color...

Hope Nurul like it, sorry abt the writing, tgn tak lembut lagi nak pusing2...icing tu mcm nak keluar semua...jenuh dok control...anyway, a point to improve after this, i hv to srite more using icing...kasi steady tgn tu...

Today i'm meeting my ex-boses for lunch. I make some assorted choc, pandan, vanilla & strawberry cupcakes top with strawberry & vanilla buttercream frosting. I'm luvin it. It's so fun baking and decorating...(hv to admit my hand is not as flowless yet...but will improve my skill in a bit...)...

MY first project production...

Today, I spent half a day icing my cupcakes (hald of the cakes dah hilang dimakan beberapa "tikus montok" berkaki dua mlm semalam..tinggal separuh jer cupcakes yg tinggal...huwaaa...tak sabar betul budak2 ni..)...Anyway, on the icing, alhamdulillah, outcome not bad jugak. Mom was impressed when i make the roses...he he he...I'm supprised myself coz i nvr tot it will come out that good for someone who nvr ever attended any formal class nor seen anyone doing it right before my eyes...thanks to youtube for all the "how to" videos...

I make several design, one football concept for my nephew's birthday tomorrow..another happy box and one flower garden ...

My first baking project

Hi all...i'm just abt to start my baking project and i choose to do only cupcakes, for now. Nanti2 bila dah expert, boleh venture into other types of cakes. I started my first baking on 14 Nov. Ni semua gara2 tak dpt nak tempah cupcakes for my newphew 1st birthday. After much thinking, i decided to do on my own...thanks to all cupcakes bakers, ur blogs are so inpirational...come of the design are so fantastic. I bskes almost everyday and makes 100 overs cupcakes...and guess what...x sempat nak finish frosting another batch, dah habis all my cakes...sepupu2 and makcik2 jer dah cukup utk jadi my first customer (x bayor la pulak...)..teruja and happy...the feedback is so flatering...well, flaterring enough for a first timers...not that i tak pernah bake, but tak pernah decorate with buttercream or any other frosting pun...tu yg teruja and excited...

Ok, tak nak ckp banyak...today is officially baking with real decorations...after a few times trying, dah dpt buat buttercream with the right..thanks to Kak Inn (Datin Mary Zain cupcakes) for shring and inspiring me...
